He was raised by a family deeply rooted in the traditions of their coven. His upbringing was filled with love, but his relationship with his father was strained. His father was keen on forging stronger relations with humans, a sentiment that never sat well with him or the rest of the family. Despite this, he attended a human school, where he faced relentless bullying. Nevertheless, he excelled academically, showing resilience and determination in the face of adversity as well as an unbreakable will. As he grew older, he became more aware of the criminal activities carried out by his family, assisting them where he could whether it was an experiment or something more trivial. However, his intellectual pursuits never faltered, particularly when it came to studying the family's grimoire, a cherished book of magical knowledge which he learned much from. His father's sudden death in a car accident marked a turning point in his life. Devastated, he became increasingly reclusive, shutting himself off from the world.In his grief, he attempted to bring his father back to life, but this desperate act plunged him into the world of dark magic. The consequences of tampering with such powerful forces were dire, warping his personality and pushing him deeper into darkness. His obsession with resurrection led to a spree of violence, with many animals and then some humans losing their lives in the process. However, some of his family took the blame. Eventually, he set up his shop, offering advice and magical services to those who sought him out. He was not opposed to making morally questionable deals, especially when they involved exploiting the weak. His loyalties lay primarily with his kind, though he was not averse to working with other factions if it served his interests. Over time, he became more cautious about the types of magic he practised, aware of the dangers that came with meddling in the darker arts.The witch would discover just how difficult it could be, hiding in the shadows whilst being feared and distrusted by those in the know. Whilst he was not against using such fear he began searching for more business partners, allowing him to attract those with the most money to add to his growing wealth. Recently the witch took up the task of adding to his family grimoire, a task that had not been undertaken for some time. Axel also went on a short vacation to gather his thoughts away from prying eyes as well as to lure some of the unwary to the city to make money from their misfortune.
